From our initial entry into the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania oil and gas law in 2009, our firm has been in the thick of the Marcellus Shale play, assisting our clients in successfully navigating the largely undeveloped landscape of oil and gas law and application of horizontal drilling processes in the State. As the oil and gas industry in Pennsylvania has seen rapid change and new challenges, our firm has remained well versed in the evolving legal issues, applying our knowledge and experience to solving emerging issues. Our firm has a team of attorneys focused exclusively on providing our Pennsylvania clients with the same level of excellence we offer our Texas clients when preparing title opinions, title curative documents and title related research.
Our work has been extensive in the Marcellus Shale southwest core area, where drilling operations may be impacted by operating and abandoned coal mines, long forgotten oil and gas severances, and new laws passed to address the new reality of deep shale exploration. Our work also includes lands in the Marcellus Shale north central area and exploration and development in Pennsylvania's northwest quarter, the oldest producing region in our United States.
